mad al 146
from "the horses mouth"..................."we're on strike again next Tuesday!".................. FFS!! This I feel is going to backfire on the postal workers and some time in the not to distant future I will be getting mail via a Polish type person

Strong Stuff 2,171
As I said last week ............. What a shower of twats they are! They have got no chance of gaining any public sympathy for their cause after all this, they have succeeded in being a massive pain in the arse though. Maybe if a few of us "borrowed" the odd striking postman and kept him in our shed for a few days, it might focus their minds on the job in hand rather than crying about doing what they are actually paid for ............. Oh, and I did read that the DWPP (Tax Credit people) and the Inland Revenue are taking a good look at a lot of Post staff who seem to have been doing a second job in the "spare time" that they should have been delivering mail in. Seems the Goverment are going to play dirty!

mad al 146
I'm totally confused with this post stuff , how do they justify a delivery by themselves to us today from the Ukraine that took just two days and with it, a birthday card for our daughter, posted eighteen miles away from us on the 20th July 2007 :wallbash: FFS.................Al

Seems the Goverment are going to play dirty! HOW CAN ANY ONE CALL THEM T***S!! i was talking to one today who said it is not all about MONEY some of these blokes have worked for royal mail for many years and have paid into their pensions. now the pensions are being frozen and they are basically being ripped off!! the guy i spoke to was looking to take early retirement at 55 and leave this immigrant infested shithole but now he will have to work until hes 65 as for the hours, they have always been on job and finish which to me seems a good idea, what would YOU prefer? your letters delivered early or sat in a lay bye just passing time away?? theyve been told that for example if they turn up for work and there is no work for them they may be sent home and they will have to make their hours up the following week which in theory sounds ok. but what if you have other commitments ie: you got to pick kids up from school or your wife has a job at night then all sort of problems can occur this government is letting everyone down they are basically trying to close every company down, cadburys goin to poland Kellogs will be next ive heard. they wont be happy until we are praying to ALLAH in a mosque built by POLES we need to support these people the best we can. i remember the same sort of slagging when the miners were on strike and when they lost we ALL LOST
