I usually stay away from threads like this, but I have read one of the stories in the article, where the hare runs into the farmyard, and the dog jumps a 7ft fence to follow the hare then jumps it back to continue the course. At that point I stopped reading.

I gave up on fairy tales when I was 5.

How the hell was that published? It honestly takes the P out of the reader. The saddest part is, that there will be people who swallow it hook line and sinker.

Until I see a dog that can jump a 7ft fence while on a course, I will be sceptical to say the least. Granted there are dogs that can jump over 7 ft. but while on a course? That I would like to see.

fair play I can see what your saying ! like I said though I've seen a similar course . My brothers dog ran a hare into a farm yard around the barn and some machinery then out into a horse paddock . The hare tried to loose the dog by threadling itself through the fencing and lastly through a five bar gate only for the dog to clear the fence each time to push the hare out into a open field were the course ended. So for me It doesn't sound like that much of a fairy tale. Not a snide question but have you done much hare coursing?
