Sweeney 316
Someone on a facebook page has just asked if wagg worker was any good, needless to say i said no and told him what I fed mine raw diet with gain. Another member then proceeded to say that "if you feed your dogs too good in summer they wont come into the good condition as much when u up the standard of feed for running condition"

TC Don't see if it makes and difference, I keep mine up together all year round, just because I'm not running then doesn't mean I'm gonna start feeding them below par grub.

Tiercel 6,986
I've always reduced my dogs protein intake through the summer when they're having R & R. Thats the sensible way to manage dogs, no athlete stays in or anywhere near peak condition through out the year it's a matter of peaks and troughs. TC

jf1970 328
Ok, so if your season started September and finished March was injury free, when would your dog be in "peak" condition and for how long?
deanflute 550
Their that brain dead they don't even realise it's only called "worker" so the V.A.T is waived, nothing to do with it having any beneficial attributes to a working dog
