lennon 12
What's the best dry food to put weight on my lab as I can't get tripe anymore
sandymere 8,263
The total calories eaten is what’s important rather then brand, I'd get whatever it will eat then add whatever fatty meat you can get hold of, table spoon of vegetable oils/lard, table scraps etc. fat has double the calories of protein/carbs so it is energy dense.
Country Joe 1,411
Get a decent complete with meat being the first ingredient in the bag, and use it as a mixer with raw meat, there's usually a supplier near that will deliver. if mixing with raw I feel you don't need the higher protein, I use 20% and it appears a good mix with the meat and veg, dog looks well on it.
