walshie 2,804
Watching this for the amazement factor at the rubbish they talk. and how they talk to the audience like we're all 7 years old. Yesterday apparently it was unusual for crows to eat rabbits and today "Magpies and Corvids" were killing some rabbit kits. And hasn't Packham got smuggest face you've ever seen? You'd never get fed up punching it.
Lab 10,979
Watched a bit yesterday. They seemed amazed that a fox had caught a young rabbit...f***ing shock horror. There was a small bit about the badgers and all the things they eat like slugs, frogs and insects. No mention of jyst "anything they can catch easily" then????

cragman 2,791
Three minutes in and Badgers were mentioned on Monday, even less time last night. And Oddie going on about the Hedgehog and it's demise....Due to habitat loss apparently! Surely if that's the case, wouldn't there be less badgers, foxes and birds of prey, 'cos they all share the same habitat don't they? Bollocks Oddie, what about Brock eating our prickly friend. It must cost us a fortune to make the programme because you have cameras filming those being filmed! What's all that about?
pesky1972 5,364
Always love watching Spring/Autumn watch. Some great filming and some magical insights into animal behaviour. Huge respect for the skill, patience & dedication of the cameramen & women. The only drawback is having to listen to Packham, Strachan and that other fanny...and Oddie & Humble before them. Taken to Sky +ing it now so I can FF past all the p!sh talking. Maybe I'll write to Points of View & suggest a bit of a shake up of the presenters. Was thinking maybe Frankie Boyle & Kelly Brook on the couch..., with maybe Chris Kamara as the roving presenter..., and with occasional features by Keith Lemon, Brian Blessed & Danny Dyer?
