Lab 10,979
When you say help with this and help with that....who would the 'keeper' be helping? Quote Link to post
themightybuck 9
my brother and I have run the shoot for the last 9 years we have done 6 years on our own and the last 3 with help from a keeper. He is no longer able to help due to private personal reasons and has only stopped as he has no choice. He always did the lions share of the feeding and rearing with the 2 of us helping to rear and get the pens ready. So i suppose the wording should be different the keeper would be doing as much as he could with my brother and i helping him where ever he needed it. Up to now all the decisions have been talked out between the 3 of us equally and usually every one is thinking along the same lines, we are very open minded to new ideas and welcome change. Born Hunter 17,763
Sounds a nice little deal for somebody with the experience and motivation for it. DIY shoots are run like that the length and breadth of the country. I'd sack off the driven day in favour of more walked up but that's just me. I'm sure once you get to know and trust each other new opportunities can be discussed and negotiated. Quote Link to post
