Ferreting Permission Available - Leeds 16 Area

Hi, thanks for all the messages, I am busy working through them so please don't think they are being ignored. The land is currently growing for hay but I think where the rabbits are would be accessible without worrying about the crop. There are so many replies and I am wondering if it would be acceptable to do it in two bits so I can offer 2 lots of permission for the two separate pieces of land, I am hoping that someone can advise me.

We have 2 fields, one large that is used for hay and a small paddock that is used to keep ponies, there is a stretch of woodland, 10 -15m between the two and rabbits on both sides, I am not sure how deep/far the rabbits warrens run so is it likely that they run all the way through or would it be that ferreting could be done separately on either side.

Neither piece of land is suitable for shooting due to roads close by, ponies and public land nearby, the grassland is unfenced so not sure it is suitable for dogs.

Many thanks for all interest shown and will be in touch with those who have replied shortly.

Thank you to all those who replied to my post via pm, the permission has now been offered and accepted and so is no longer available.

I was completely overwhelmed with requests and never realised that land for this was is such short supply and how far people were willing to travel to indulge in the sport. I feel terrible that I could only offer to one and intend to contact a couple of our neighbouring farmers to see if they would be willing to allow permission for their land, I am not sure whether they have the same problem because of our unique location being ideal for the furry horrors, but I will get back to others if I can find anything.

Many thanks to all of you and good luck in finding land to work on.

Heather

Pigeon shooting on a small farm between Darlington and Richmond, must be able to go mid week not just weekends, this could be a nice little pigeon shooting permission for the right person, I’ve had some good days here but just can’t get there as often as the owner would like

Duck hunting is available over particular seasons during their annual migrations through Egypt. We hunt summer ducks from mid-August to mid-October and the winter migration from early November through the middle of February.  Ducks are a challenging bird to call and shoot and success is also obviously related to a hunter's shooting prowess. Our Services Includes :- airport assistance , Transportation , Lodging , Guides , Best Waterfowl Hunting Areas , Hunting Licenses , Permits Of Gun Entry to Egypt , All Duck Hunting Equipment ( Boats , Decoys , Waders and Duck Calls )  More Info Here

      Hi all,
My Dad  and I have rented a land in Spain. 30 min from Gibraltar airport. We are looking for 5 hunters to share the expenses. Currently i live in Bristol so what i do is to take weekend flights almost every month so im happy that you to join me.
      The land has:
      3 ibex license sep-january
      8 red deers sep-feb
      12red  deer does
      5 roe deers May- September
      Wildboar all the year
The land also includes house and my father is happy to pick up you at the airport.
The price is £2000 per season/hunter
if you know someone who might be interested give me a ring.
The idea is to share the expenses not to sell a hunt as we are not professional outfitters so we are just looking for fellow hunters who are interested in big game shooting to share the experience.
