The one 8,511
It think your better saving up and buying a mk3m from Debens you will get a guarantee if anything goes wrong , the mk1s are fine you can get them fixed and even buy new collars for them but that's got to be different in Oz , and we seldom use bells as they clog up and you wouldn't,t hear them in a deep warren any way . Fergus 18
Rusty there have been folks in oz importing ferret finders over the years however none to the best of my knowledge currently are. When I looked into a mk3m it was cheaper to buy it from the UK anyway, which I did. Definitely worth the money a locator even though no other ferreters I know own one. Bells can be used when ferreting rabbits in blackberry heaps and the like for rabbits above the ground. I can PM you where I got my locator if you wish, let me know. Quote Link to post

Thanks mate that would be good, none of my mates, or any of the people I've gone ferreting with use locators either. But I thought it might be worth getting one. ATB Rusty206 Quote Link to post

desertdog 149
it always makes me smile when i here about locators, yes im sure technology has come a long way, BUT you cant beat the old grey box,iv had mine a good while, probably 35yr, tried the new one, its like being out with r2d2, the old grey boxes do have their faults but as its been said on here they,re great.happy ferreting.
