Get yourself a Fell and save the hassle of wading through the Beddy minefield,to many join the WBF and want a pup yesterday,if they are not offered one straight away they start to gripe.Working Bedlingtons are frequently advertised, yet are rarely bred, thus the amount of dross about now,if it says KC run quickly away,if it says bred from workers buy some earplugs and only trust what the eyes tell you.The best options are the hybrid Beddy/Fells,not a dog for some purists, but a better reflection of the original Beddy,in type and character.

Beddy poacher,i used to think permission was for the faint hearted, with age,a widening girth and less speed and mobility,i now see permission as the new way forward.A Beddy hybrid may well suit a lad still quick on his toes?.

I would love to have permission round here pal. Beautiful countryside I love to be out and out in we dogs, most the farmers know me but they don't want lads on land, people walking it throughout summer in gangs, dropping bambi and leaving carcasses and dead billys in field, it f****d job up for everyone, it seems to be same most places, the odd people who will give permission have already got lads on, and they won't want to share or lose it, most farmers / landowners don't want to know full stop. It's the only option to Poach.. but I do it the old way  Iv'e also got a little beddy x lurcher bitch on now. Once she gets scent she can be hard work to get back, but being young and follow it down lol
