desertdog 149
The problem being with a herd, they will stick together ,staghounds will single a stag with tufters, get him goin then lay the pack, hunting smaller deer would be different,as pre ban allowed. Quote Link to post
stando 177
The buck hound's are still going There the only mounted pack of beagles that I know of, and you need to be on a bloody horse when they get going :D The hound's are a real credit to the two brother's that run them 1 Quote Link to post
desertdog 149
Glad to hear that,I were stopping at the tsh kennels with a friend at the time, never been with them, another good little pack that way were the mole valley teagles, they hunted most things . Quote Link to post
jamesc94 2
desertdog why was it frowned upon? because they hunted roe or because they hunted in tsh&dssh country? why does it matter if they hunted a different quarry? Quote Link to post
little hedz 118
desertdog why was it frowned upon? because they hunted roe or because they hunted in tsh&dssh country? why does it matter if they hunted a different quarry? Most pirate packs that hunt in registered packs countrys will come into conflict mate if its a simple fox pack, gun pack or a pirate pack hunting any other quarry they really dont like it and turn there noses up at it and some of them can be complete twats and will go to all sorts of lengths to stop it i know quite a few blokes round the country that keep pirate packs either small none registered hunts or gun packs and quite a few of them have had shite of larger registered packs or members of those packs which is a shame really as there the first ones to shout to stand together on marchs or during the ban Quote Link to post
desertdog 149
Well it's the hunting fraternity ,that don't agree with the private packs, them and us type ,me I think it's great, all for one and all.but some don't see it that way, Quote Link to post
jamesc94 2
seems a shame that. I like the idea of the private packs best. Anyone know of a pirate pack in the northeast (preferably close to durham as I cant drive) that would allow me to come along during the season? Quote Link to post
