paulk73 151
went out last night for a couple of hours on a pig farm permission with hw 100 kt .177. had 24 rats. best tally yet of this permission. better get back up there soon and get the numbers down. was leaning the rifle on a wooden fence post while taking a shot. when a massive boar came over and bit a chunk out of the post. I could not believe the power of its jaws. it was just munching away on this lump of timber. Quote Link to post
RemyBolt 420
That's nuts. I have always heard they were strong. Makes sense why people used to feed bodies to pigs. Nice numbers. I was going out last night, but was going to bait, as it's a new permission, but with the rain, decided against it. Quote Link to post
paulk73 151
I was leaning on the sheep netting fencing with my leg. if he just decided to bite me, he could of just bit my knee cap clean off. no problem. These bigs fellas only stay in thier pens cos they want to. I have twice watched big boars destroy a pen to get out. Quote Link to post
RemyBolt 420
That's crazy! Explains why people are concerned about the idea of Wild Boar then. Quote Link to post
