i went for the tikka t3 had the cz in .223 now went up .to the .243 the TIKKA T3 any day cheers sounder

Tikka T3 Lite I use every day and wouldnt go past it. Shot this fox the other night with it.

The plastic honeycomb stock is utter sh1te and there is a high possibility that the qd stud will pull out ...........Imagine that Just when your walking across a farmyard as well

 

Other than that there is nothing wrong with a Tikka ,I have the M595 (previous version )

I went for the woodwalnut stock, preferred it over the plaggy one...

i,d go for the tikka mate but i would get the heavy barreld version the cz ok but the tikka is not much more money hold anddry fire both guns if poss and you wil easy no what one to choose i have got a contenetial m595 and is the mutts nuts easly better than a cz

don't worry about the stud at the fore end there is a fault but can be put right there was a post on here of what the stud looks like and it can be fixed cheers sounder best of luck.

i have the t3 stainless varmint in 22.250 and have to say its worth every penny i paid for it, 100% reliable

why not try a sako 75 or 85 (or is it ? new 1 any way). not much between the tika and the sako, but out of tika and cz, id have the tikka every time - Forestry commision cant be wrong! Aaron
