damodogs 11
Cheers gedro, I've got a couple of collie Greg whippet pups thinking of giving them a bash next year Edited May 25, 2014 by damodogs 1 Quote Link to post
samba 534
whippet/ghds are quite popular at this type of racing Quote Link to post
dogmad riley 1,345
Thought master McGrath was a greyhound? So guessing only greyhounds could enter but don't hold me to that Quote Link to post
the big chief 3,099
Thought master McGrath was a greyhound? So guessing only greyhounds could enter but don't hold me to that that's what i thought too mate Quote Link to post
Brigzy 1,298
It's run by Albert J from Ireland; dogs qualify from various shows/racing around the UK and Ireland. A lurched will never win it as the qualifiers are purpose bred race dogs, either un registered , un tattooed greyhounds, non ped whippets or "lurchers" that are 31/32 greyhound and 1/32 whippet !! LOL !! Pointless a working lurcher even thinking about winning it. Quote Link to post
damodogs 11
No lads its definitely a lurcher racing championship, although the way its going at the moment I'm not surprised you would think it was for full hounds, Quote Link to post
damodogs 11
Well said brigzy, they should hold the master McGrath in shelbourne this year Lol Quote Link to post

Chid 6,560
Few of the shows are doing differant class's in the racing now to make it fairer , the ammount of prizes and the cost of them for the master mcgrath means its going to be a competative race , with purpose bred race dogs being entered if you dont like it dont go or set up your own raceday Quote Link to post
