Hot Meat 3,109
I think it's getting silly now, Morton has just said most sheep learn to accept a dog and handler if they are seen often. I know this to be true and use local farms and there stock break my dogs as I know the sheep are steady as sheep get lol but a STRANGE dog will spook a flock.... Quote Link to post

morton 5,368
I don,t see it as a sign of the times because of some peoples ignorance of the country side code, many over the years have had as much respect for the grass they tread as they have for the landowner and their stock, some worked the land to their advantage, feck all else, some worked it the RIGHT way,you can be taught the RIGHT way,you can realise there is a RIGHT way,or you don,t care for anything else except personal gratification and indulgence.Ive done it the right and wrong way, possibly why i try to steer others away from my ignorance and the strife it caused. 1 Quote Link to post

You don't think your being a little over dramatic? She ran one rabbit near some sheep. Sheep didn't move. And you are talking about respect for land and ignorance of the country code? Lol. 1 Quote Link to post

R.A.W 1,987
This lot of ewes seem to enjoy some hunting ....................On a serious not I avoid certain places like the plague because of lambs at foot not because fear the actions of my hounds or lurchers but because sheep can a bit dim witted at the best of times and lose they're off spring without any help. 1 Quote Link to post
