mole trapper 1,693
Anyone else used it? What's your thoughts? A customer has very expensive holiday lets and crow's are beating the crap out of the windows to the extent that there is blood everywhere. He put a box of the dishes all over the Windows but the crows didn't care and actually pull them off and eat the goo! Contacted the company and the guy said that wouldn't happen?, he sent two boxes gratis and told the customer exactly how to place, well it's as bad as ever, blood all over the place and content of dishes being eaten. Upshot, guests leaving because of craziness from four am onward. Quote Link to post

mole trapper 1,693
Trouble is when the client is being paid two grand plus a week by the holiday guests per cottage and there's five being attacked by many carrion crows it's quite a stressy situation, I can only shoot one morning a fortnight because of the change over system. socks 32,253
Tell him to get a couple of cats to walk around the place ...the guests will love to stroke them and they will keep the mice rats and birds at bay ...... Quote Link to post
Born Hunter 17,787
If the crows are that territorial a couple of larsens would probably clean up, right? Just a thought.... 2 Quote Link to post
Millet 4,497
I was working on a place several year's ago and the office block was all stained window's that resembled big mirror's so to stop all the bird's flying into the widow's Peregrine Falcon transfers where randomly placed around the window's which done the job.. i know it's a different problem but it might work... you can also get Peregrine kite's that go on a long stick.. not sure if the Corvid's would be too clever for those though.. Born Hunter 17,787
Wouldn't BoP images just aggrevate the crows more? LOL Quote Link to post
Ratmanwan 66
Get calls for this most springs, also had them pulling seals around wing mirrors off after seeing there reflections. Had a job afew years ago for the highway traffic cops at there depot on the m1, they had 6 patrol vehicles, a pair of carrions ripped the wiper blades off 4 of them. I tried bird gel on a guys window they were pecking, that didn't work either. Larsons or air rifle is the best bet. Quote Link to post

neil cooney 10,416
If it's starting at 4 am then at around 3.50 am start walking around the site banging two dustbin lids together while screaming loudly. This should get rid of them. Seriously though it sounds like larsens would clear them up. You could have the larsens hidden by 7 or 8 am and put them back out the following night. You should catch between 4 am and 7 am. I've known crows to set of house alarms by fighting their reflection in the window. A larsen usually sorts it. 3 Quote Link to post
