gonetoearth 5,144
Lol. Ill tell you this ive known broady since i was 11 /12 first met him in a taxidesmists he had a norfolk lurcher On a lead He has been in and around working dogs all his life. Its ruled his life He could sit down a fill a series of books with experience of lamping , and long dogs , terriers , hounds , then start on bear mountain lion , we dream off of what" F "ING John. (Youd need to know him to get that ) has done in his life. He wanted to put in print the old timers and people who he thought were terriers men and their experiences in print before they pass , its not a biography its a insight into are culture real peoples experiences i for one think the format is good and worthy of a place on my book shelf. 1 Quote Link to post

gasman 53
Not nocking his book, just think it ain't any different from Blucks. So your saying he done it for the good of the terrier world? Ok it's not because he will make a few quid or is he donating the profits to the working terrier federation, and we dream of what john has done in his life. There you go he should have wrote it all down before he pass. Edited June 6, 2014 by gasman 1 Quote Link to post

bull mcabe 595
I met John Broadhurst in a terriermans house he was interviewing for the new book and i for one couldnt say a bad word about the man. I was stuck to my seat taking in stories he had to tell and gone to earth hit the nail on the head when he said the dogs have ruled his life like they do all good dog men. He seemed as genuine a dog man as ive met not afraid of the hard graft and not like that spoofer whos name was mentioned earlier alongside his who is into dogs for all the wrong reasons. We enjoyed a few pints that nite and he can certainly put em away. I wish him all the best with the book. 5 Quote Link to post
