First Outing

Went to have a walk round my first permission tonight. As I got out of the car it started to rain so I didn't stay very long, in fact I stayed just long enough to, with the help of a very accurate ultra in .177, bag my first bunny before the proper rain came. There will be plenty of more suitable nights and there are certainly plenty of rabbits to be had. As for now my first is jointed and ready for lunch.

Well done mate. Same story here. Chucking it down now and the bunnies are increasing in numbers. Never mind. Wait for a dry spell and get some dawn or dusk sessions in...or both!!!

I never used the old style ultra so I can't comment on them but I do love mine. I would never claim to be a great shot but the ultra helps take up some of the slack so to speak. Mine is completely standard so I get about 25-30 good shots with a charge to around 190 bar which is enough for me, for now. It's zeroed at 30 mtr and at that range I'm hitting pellet on pellet easily (on the bipod admittedly)

Being a small tank it doesn't take long before it needs a refill but then it doesn't take long to pump back up either. If you are in the market for a nice compact gun there will be plenty of people that will recommend the ultra, me included.
