Mr Mcgoo 18
Ordered this scope from veils fishing tackle Bristol at the bargain price of 155 delivered, The box was a nice touch especially for storing the scope when removed from rifle. Inside you get large side wheel, sun shade, screw in lens caps, spare batteries, cleaning cloth,Allen key, instruction manual and of course the scope. Thinks I really liked 1, Sight picture really clear, bright and crisp 2, reticle, Love the half mil dots (very easy to use) 3, Turrets chunky and feel very positive between clicks when adjusting wind/elevation 4, Turrets also lock down push/pull then with star key to prevent movement 5, lockable eye focus ring 6, ir nice and bright Didn't like. 1, side wheel is a pain in the arse to fit and remove 2, screw in lens covers (better if were flip up) 3,when sunshade fitted lens cover does not screw I to it. Out in the field I first zeroed at 15yds which took couple of mins before I was shooting through same hole. Went back to 35yds and was cock on (177) practiced with milldots at various ranges from 15-55 yards and found easy to use. Side parralex was accurate, easy to archive crisp picture and easy enough to use without the side wheel. Overall very impressed with the scope and glad I bought it, I previously had the mtc viper 10x44. the sidewinder in my eyes is a much better scope. I only use fixed mag scope with rside parralex as I find it very easy to range find, 10x zoom is more than ample for hunting. Going to take some beating this scope even the ones at double the money Verdict buy one, hope this helps some people out. Chris 2 Quote Link to post
