03milesR 6
Has anyone had any luck or decent bags recently? I've been out on everything from beans to rape. I've got some drilled maize to try but other then that I'm all out of ideas! Has anything worked for you guys and gals? Quote Link to post

CaptainBanana 5
I'm finding meal/soda wheat stores to be a big attraction on one of my perms at the minute. 47 crows and 2 dozen ferals within the space of a couple of hours yesterday afternoon, and that was without a hide! They just kept coming in, bold as brass. Quote Link to post
FENN 24
Been having some good bags over the last month on flight lines .The birds are feeding on ivy berries in a very large old wood then flighting back to the nests over the other side of the valley a distance of probably 5 miles or so . goldfinger 135
Starting to see birds on peas no great number but seem to increasing as days go by, especially patchy areas adjacent to woods, Worksop Nottinghamshire. Quote Link to post
morocchiou12 0
amazing isn't it all the farmers are crying out because of all the massive damage caused by pigeons but to be honest I have seen places where I shoot over to be almost devoid of woodies and most of the rabbits have got mixy ( excuse spelling ) james Quote Link to post
tsteve9999 456
Went out on Monday and had 42 in 3 hours. Took my mate yesterday and everything was the same, wind direction, speed, weather, decoy pattern, the lot, and managed 7 or 8 in over 4 hours. I'll never understand pigeon shooting as long as I've got a hole up my a**e 1 Quote Link to post
Werrso 1
55 woodies yesterday high winds made great days shooting doesn't get much better Quote Link to post
Rowan 308
saw plenty on the stubbles yesterday , but was after bunnies with the rifle , so will have to hope the woodies are still there next weekend , unless I force myself to have a day off sooner. Quote Link to post
Bear1cat 4
Me and my mate had 155 woodies on wheat stubble yesterday. Two weeks ago on the same farm on the rape stubble we had 450! We actually ran out of shells. Who would have thought 800 shells wouldn't have been enough :) Quote Link to post
