socks 32,253
Nice bud. I put some inline "hammocks" in mine. combat leg, jubilee clipped to two sections. They love them, slept through the back end of the winter in them instead of getting sweaty in a box. In the second pic on the back wall where the pipe ends is where I intend to do just that mate ... Time was against me tonight ... Also in the second pic you can see the hanging basket that's raised just above the floor ... On really warm nights they sleep curled up in there .......... greenman 221
Just got a ferret wheel to put in my court. Really well made and excellent service from leeview, thank you very much. Unfortunately they just use it as a hammock lazy twats. Quote Link to post

Mine tend to sleep in tha hammock rather than the box in all but the coldest weather. I put one of those plastic garden 'trugs' in with a bit of bedding in the bottom and they love sleeping in that. squab 2,875
very smart court you knocked up there,do any you lads with this type of thing ever worry about ferrets falling from height we all know they can be boisterous when playing, just got me thinking thats all I have been keeping ferrets in courts for about 15 years and never had a problem ... Over the next few days I will be putting tubes all around the side for them to play inside ... So if they climb and do fall they will land on the pipes on the way down and not straight onto the floor ........ i looked at pics again, see what your saying, still a smart set up Edited June 7, 2014 by hunter1372 Quote Link to post
greenman 221
Hammock, I get a cheap rug or blanket from the charity shop and cut it to size, when it gets a bit worn or smelly, chuck it away and make a new one. 4 Quote Link to post
socks 32,253
My new ferret wheel arrived from leeview yesterday and as usual it was very well made and faultless ... 10 seconds after fitting it the ferrets were in and running ....... 3 Quote Link to post
