clipo 871 Posted May 18, 2014 Report Share Posted May 18, 2014 Thought You'd be the one to know truth is I just bought one off eBay on impulse for £275..Hope I've done the right thing got access to a shitload of big timber that my 137 won't touch so this should pay for itself hopefully.. sounds about right price mate....... any pics of it??? first thing id do is try and lift the saw off the ground with just the pull cord, if you can lift it straight up without the pull cord coming out you no it has good compression......then take the muffler (exhaust) off and check the piston aint scratched.......check the air filter is clean........empty any fuel out and put fresh in that you no is mixed correctly........if all that works then you got a good saw........ this is one i found on youtube....... that chunk of wood spilt up in to logs would fetch well over £300 round here so if you got access to loads of it im sure you will get your money back and plenty more on top........ happy logging....... 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Atb and what a load of shite they are........ my mate rang me up once saying some guy had turned up on a site he was working on selling brand new ms440 stihl chainsaws for £120...... he brought one and showed me it and it was like the shite you get in B&Q only painted in stihl colours and a fake sticker on it!!!! exactly the same as these!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rf-unuPGifM i showed him this video and he still uses it......
