Breeding Terms......

Recommended Posts

Breeding terms were once set in stone, everybody knew the score and acted accordingly, the same stone and accordination is a thing of the past now, most would have you over for far less worth than the price of a decent jukel, honesty and trust, once the mainstay of hunting folk,is practiced by a lesser sort now.At least this lesser sort are still about,if you care to associate and find accord with them.

fcuk me there are some sharp witted individuals on here :whistling: . morton i am old school and try to be honest and upsanding. i expect the same  i am toying with trying to take a pup from my old lurcher. but to be honest i think i will buy in. and i dont want to go down the road of buying a brood and moving it on once i'm done with it. i also dont want to put him out to stud. lol. so the most painless option will be to buy in i reckon . thanks for the replies

Im in a lurcher dilemna Cleanspade,id rather source an honest pup of the sort id like than breed from the lass ive at hand, the lass at hand would possibly best serve my intention,if the desired stud could be sourced, its finding honest dogs from an honest kennel now,old school like us may not be the way now,how sad a reflection of the times.

It depends on what terms you mean buddy as in borrowing a bitch ?

yes to borrow the bitch line it with your dog(all going well) rear the pups and then return the bitch to its owner. in the same condition you got her.

Just getting someone who trusts YOU enough great if you can get a bitch you like enough, unless it's a lad who has plenty and likes your dog enough ,go for it,but can't help think using him to stud and have one back would be easier.

Would it be for the Wheaten x what was you thinking of using him on

It would depend on the bitch of course, but I know none of mine would be happy whelping in a place full of strange dogs and strangers. Plus, the responsibility on the person whelping the bitch is huge if anything were to go wrong: like if the bitch got into difficulties and needed a caesarean, or some other problem.
