Wouldn't water it unless the ground got real dry , in 10 days you should start seeing the grass coming through

Since you all said it was easy thought id give it a go. Was easier than i thought... but still a tw@t of a job...

am i ready to throw some seeds down or do i need to remove all the green bits? It diesnt matter about the edges as i will dig a border round

you can seed that without removing all the green bits mate depends how fussy you want to be with removing the dead weeds on top and how nice a lawn you want after. bet your glad you didnt say yes to the quote of £300 notes to do the job for you as it was easy enough to do yourself.

My cooking tomo goes as far as frying steak/chops/gammon etc... roasting beef/chicken.. making a curry .

i do use herbs and spices... but i buy them off the shelf

Rosemary and thyme are dead easy mate,,, both used on meats,, as is mint,,,you can even buy them growing in morrisons or asda for about 2 quid,,, then just plant them,,, that's all I did

Yer, if it's any quicker for ya RH, turf over the seed. Just keep that turf well watered daily and keep off it for about 3 weeks. Turf is better laid in Spring and Autumn, when its wetter, so keep fecking watering.

It's starting to take shape, well done, keep at it. :victory:
