bird 9,916
well if they use beddys and its hard to get s good pure beddy to day that will do earth work today, why not use a pat.? you prob got better chance of getting a better dog of the 2 x's . For rabbiting, ferreting, ratting I think they be ok no prob. 1 Quote Link to post

roybo 2,873
Had one years back threw more to the patt, hunted like a hound not really a lurcher in shape like a leggy poor terrier, but as good as a ferreting/bushing dog as you'll find . Was murder with another terrier I had at the time so she went down south to another home, was handy as you could send her down a hole and call her out ,then wait 5 minutes and out came a Fox Edited May 17, 2014 by roybo Quote Link to post

Tyla 3,179
I like whirriers, my wife has a jrtxwhippet and he's a bloody good dog. Not as fast as the lurchers but a lot more durable and hard as you like. 1 Quote Link to post
Cleanspade 3,322
i bred a litter of lakie cross greyhounds have posted about it before. its fair to say they never turned out like i wanted. and i regret not using my little beddy whippet over the greyhound if you want a whirrier. the beddy or wheaten or bull cross whippets set the benchmark. jmo 1 Quote Link to post
