pie-eater 377
Probably a stupid question but how do you carry your pellets? I don't like loose pellets in my pocket but I need something I can grab a second shot from fast. Quote Link to post

Rez 4,961
What rifle are you shooting mate? If you have a rubber plate on the butt, you can drop a .22 in between the lattice of the rubber section. One in each hole, enough for about 20 shots. The old john darling did this bless him. 1 Quote Link to post
pie-eater 377
Rez its a scorpion .177 ss Ill see if that works thanks. No just tried it a .22 would stay in there but a .177 just drops out on mine good idea though. Edited May 16, 2014 by pie-eater 1 Quote Link to post
pie-eater 377
The leather pouches look nice but are a bit expensive for my liking. I might go with the straw idea for the bulk of my pellets and Ill work out somewhere to keep a couple of pellets on the rifle stock so I have a second shot if needed. Thanks everyone. The one 8,482
I just empty a tin into the pocket of my cammo jacket or drive around with a tin on the dash of the motor but i find the easiest option is the best where my son does have a wee leather purse thing he wears round his neck Quote Link to post
gurtwurz 792
You can get little first aid kits in small nylon pouches with zip closers from pound shops, they make an ideal sized pouch to slip in your pocket. Quote Link to post
barrywhite 282
I use an old screw lid 177 air gun pellet tin .the inside padded with foam from an AA 22 pellet tin .I put 50 pellets in the foam lined tin and another piece of foam on top then screw the lid on .I take a few pellets out at a time and put in pocket ready to shoot . 1 Quote Link to post
Coypu Hunter 486
I use an oblong of leather that started life as a fancy label for something else. Drilled 5mm holes in it in a grid pattern, threaded a shoelace through the top two holes. .177 pellets fit snugly into the 5mm holes, and the leather grips them firmly. It hangs around my neck with the skirts facing out for easy extraction. Think it holds about 20 pellets. Quote Link to post

RemyBolt 420
Make a small pouch and pop it on the side of your stock. You can get some good stock covers that have pockets in them too. 1 Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,587
I line a sturdy screw-top pellet tin with a Chamois leather from Halfords. Paint it grey to remove bright colours and mark it as the appropriate ammo tin. Keeps your pellets clean, secure and absolutely silent when out stalking/mooching. Quote Link to post
