Cedric 132
Just been out to zero my .22's, Anshutz 1417 bolt and 10/22 semi with some surprising results. The Anshutz was about spot on at 25 yards and went 1/4" lower at 50. The Ruger grouped well at 25 then dropped about 1" at 50 ! I know that it is accepted that some energy is lost with having to recycle the bolt on semi's but this seemed a lot. Does anyone know of any chronograph tables compiaring muzzle velocity between semi's and bolt actions? After adjusting my scope I got some decent groups from the Ruger with a slight change of point of impact when I altered the scope magnification (it's only a cheap scope so I'm not too bothered by that).
