Ireland Wicklow Terrier Lurcher And Whippet Show Sunday 25Th May

All roads are leading to the Garden County, Sunday the 25th of May for the Wicklow Terrier Lurcher and Whippet Show, which is held in aid of the Wicklow Cancer Support Group, affiliated to the Irish Cancer Society. This show is ran for a great cause and is a day not to be missed with many qualifiers up for grabs. The members from the Wicklow Terrier Lurcher and Whippet Club give a serious amount of support by attending many shows around the country, it would be great to see the favour returned by all these clubs.

 

Flapper racing will start at 12pm

Digging competion will follow at 1pm

Juding will commence 1:30pm along with the Pet Show starting at 2:30pm.

 

Please note that all events will be starting on time

 

The qualifiers on the day are as follow:

The Champion Terrier and Lurcher will qualify for the Five Nations at Birr Castle.

The Champion Whippet will qualify for the Five Nations at Shanes Castle.

The winners of the Digging Competition will qualifiy for the All Ireland Digging Competition, and also receive a memorial spade.

The winner of the flapping racing both Under 23' and Over 23' will each reiceve a qualifier for the Master Mc Grath Qualifier at Shanes Castle.

 

All classes on the day will result in dogs and bitches both being judged seperately.

 

Gundog classes on the day also!!

 

Overall Puppy Championship aswell as the usual Best in Show.

 

Show is ran for a great cause as many of yous will agree, it would be great to see large support.

 

We look forward to seeing everyone on the 25th of May, signosted from the N11 Southbound and the M11 Northbound aswell as the village of Rathnew.
