Hw100T Evening Walk About.

Finally got the hw100T .177 that I got from a member on here a few weeks ago in the field for a hunt...ive been doing abit of pellet testing the last few days, she's a fussy one!Out of 12 of the top branded domed pellets..Bisley mags and weihrauch magnums are the only 2 that'll group at around a 5p size at 50 yards so I've got my order into uttings.My brand new KT on the other hand is far from fussy...got 5-6 brands that all group great at 50yrds...I was using h&n barracuda's today with the T and they seem pretty decent...I managed to get a few bunnies and a squizzer, The squizzer was from my feeder I've put up on an oak tree, I was laid along the hedge at 50 yards exactly. If I'm honest I'd fallen asleep laying there waiting and me mate who I was with had to nudge me and alert me the the squizzers presence...I lined the 5-20x50 MTC genesis scope up on the head of the squizzer...which by this time had got more then comfy on the feeder and was tucking into the peanut butter. Gently squeezed the trigger and she fell like a stone! I waited for a little while more, adrenaline had livened me right up so I fancied a little wonder....I decided to walk the edge o the permission, after 10-15 min only seeing the tails of a few bunnies waving at me I decided to camp along side a few brambles...after only what seemed like seconds a large rabbit popped out and started to feed on the free cut lawns...I lade it and it was out at 54 yards Again I l ed up the scope...just over 1 mil dot hold over and Hal a mil dot to the left for the wind and then squeezed the trigger...THUD...the rabbit didn't even move...not even a kick...This spooked anoth rabbit that was sitting in the longer grass at about 30ish yards (I didn't have time to lade it...I took the shot and missed

 

I went to collect the first one and the pellet had gone all the way through.

 

I did manage to get another smaller rabbit on the way back to te car aswell

 

The rabbits where both caught on scope can to so I'll get he vids up soon...

Nice shooting bud i cant get on with the kt but love the sporter one, i was standing in a paddock one morning at about 5,30 am holding it by the silencer and i was going to smash it off a fence post with temper i did not but only because i had my scopes on off the raider and the twink that i had just bought O and i had just got the hw100 the night before but when you know some things not for you then it s not right so got rid four hours later atvbmac :thumbs:

amazing gun.im chuffed to bits with mine.over 60 rabbit in few weeks.good pics by the way.what sling is that?

They're cracking rifles mate I've ended up with two lol, the sling came with the rifle mate I havnt a clue what it is..feels decent though,
