Ive been working away with the savage good wee rifle with decent factory trigger

them savage accutriggers are good

they certainly are very nice, but the non accutriggers are not even poor, they are absolutely terrible. and not easily adjusted

any trigger is adjustable with a good file and a little knowledge :laugh:

How many rifles have you broken with "a good file and a little knowledge" Paul? :laugh::D

far too many :laugh::laugh:

If anyone feels like challenging themselves, my Magtech 7022 has a trigger pull that goes on for about a fortnight, and feels like two sheets of 60 grit grinding together, when it does eventually break it feels about as crisp as soggy porridge...any takers? :D:thumbs:

I meant easily adjustable, as cz trigger.

Filing the sear isn't a job I'd take on lightly, once its gone too far its dangerous.

But in theory I agree

I had great fun playing with the trigger on my new 10/22. A bit of common sense and about three nights at it but got it right in the end, loads of instructions on the net. Think more along the lines of stoning rather than filing though, lots of reasembly and trying.
