Up Dated list of Dog Shows/Racedays and Gamefairs at the 12th May 14

 

Sunday 25th May

Breandan Colemans Show.
This show will be qualifier for the Master Mc Grath. Over and Under 23" with a money prize for both. This show is a qualifier for the 5 Nation for Terriers, Lurchers and Whippet with a money prize for best in show. Also on the day there will be a heavily contested digging competition with a prize Breandan is putting up himself. If there is enough interest, there may be truck pulling and heavy dog showing. Any queries please contact Breandan by pm or mobile. All class winners will get a trophy including the racing. Full details later.

Florencecourt Dog Show

Florencecourt Co Fermanagh Dog Show will take place Sunday 25th May. Great show in beautiful surroundings.

Hound, Terrier, Lurcher and Whippet Show will be held in Caim, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford

on Sunday 1st June 2014 (Beside Rackards Pub).

The Champion Terrier and Lurcher qualifies for the Countryman's Weekly Champion of Champions at Weston Park,

The 5 Nations Championship at Birr Castle, and also the North Wales Champion of Champions at the

Conwy Valley Show at Llanrwst, North Wales.

The Champion Terrier, Lurcher and Whippet qualifies for the 32 Counties Champion of Champions.

The Champion Whippet qualifies for the 5 Nations Championship at Shanes Castle.

The Best Entered Terrier qualifies for the North Wales Best Entered Terrier Championship at the Conwy Valley Show.

The Digging Competition is a qualifier for the All Ireland Digging Championship at Birr Castle.

Puppy Championship again this year.

Flapper Racing starts at 11am

Digging Competition starts at 12pm

Dog Show starts at 1pm

Pet Show starts at 2pm

There are 66 classes this year.

Shannagh Working Terrier,Lurcher and Whippet Club Dog Show will be taking place this year on Sunday 15th June. Paddy Gilmore has something lined up for young and old, male and female to enjoy. The winning Terrier & Lurcher for the open show on the day will qualifer for The COUNTRYMANS WEEKLY CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS in Sept.
THERE WILL BE NO OPEN RACING ON THE DAY

      Here’s a run down of the show day   PLEASE NOTE : This show is a qualifer for the 5 Nations Lurcher/Terrier /Whippets   Show  Date :  Saturday  3rd May 2025 Venue : 76 Nutts Corner Road Crumlin Co Antrim   For your Sat Navs :  BT29 4SJ   Gates will be open at 9 o’clock. Entry Fee £5 in, kids under 15 free. You will get a free ticket at gate for a prize. Signing in for racing will be at 11 o’clock Racing starts at 11.30am sharp, £5 per  Race Showing will start at 1 o’clock directly after Racing. Anyone who won a likesTrophy come, come and see me at my gazebo in the show grounds Kids handling will be first, followed by Ladies and Gents Handling classes   Then the 6 Rings Will  Kick Off.
