cartridges for foxes

i keep being told about being able to open a cartridge and fill the pellets with candlewax to make it into one entire slug. lads i know have said they have done this for lamping foxes. has anyone any experience from doing this before, or am i going to get half my shotgun barrell in my mouth if i even attempt it?

would be safer to just use a slug mate, a build up of pressure could swell the barrel, plus the candle wax would also coat the barrel upon firing. so i personally wouldn't like to be doing it.

wouldnt like to clean all the wax out the barrels.... try mammouth magnum 50gram 3s.

I also have some SG, for anything else burglars,big cats etc....
