Pics Of Your Bushing Dogs

Recommended Posts

Took the dog out for a walk earlier over the local park, i like going over there because now and again she gets lucky and gets a rat. Well i was over there walking around with another dog walker who has a small russell when my dog ran into the hedge a nailed a rat now normally when she gets one she finishes them fairly quickly but today she came running out of the hedge with the rat still alive and when she was clear of the hedge she let it go and started playing with it and then killed it like she usually does with a quick shake. As i say she usually kills them as soon as she catches them. So i was wondering could it have been that there was another dog present that made her act that way because i have never seen her do that and she has had a fair few of them lately. it was really odd. atb daywalker.

I think she having a hormone change from everything you've said mate, the going off the boil, and even messing about a bit with the rat, nothing to worry about if it is, mine does it, and it can happen well before she actually comes in season.

every man has a way they like there dogs to work

there is no right and wrong of a bushing dog as long as they find gear bolt it and try to work to find stuff

some do fail to do this BUT only you will no OR you will be happy in what you got but in your heart you will no

She is due in season shortly, i remember before her last season she started acting a little strange while out bushing such as she would bolt rabbits from cover but not track them which was something she was doing fairly well before then in fact that is how she managed to catch sometime's by being relentless. atb.

My bitch has had 3 seasons, coming up to her fourth now, she's gone off the boil a few weeks before her season started twice out of the first 3, didn't notice any changes the first time round? I know its hormonal because my dog takes way to much interest in her piss when she had these episodes, and no signs of her swelling, must be the chemical change he can detect? About a week before her season shows she goes mental, working like a lunatic, at least i know when its coming. I could be wrong mate, but it sounds fairly likely to me, specially if she's due in the near future. Mine don't seem to have had this "episode" this time, she's due for a season shortly, maybe it levels out on its own in time?

I have noticed dogs as well as some bitches taking a lot of interest in her and also she is constantly squatting while out lately which is usually a sign there starting to break down.
