Hello mate I dont know you but try to get some professional help.

Talk it over with your doctor.

I had them for about 6 months and then they came back again recently. Don't think you'll ever lose em

feck me ive had this old girlfriend in my brain box, on+off quite few times .lol its bloody weird mate, got to be 25-30 years since seen her, and even then we never got on that's why we finished .But god knows why you get flash backs to 30 years, because that's what there are, not what happing in my life now , work that one out

Yeah had flash backs for quite a few years and occasionally still get them after 20 years ,myself now they dont bother me i may have 1 or 2 a year but at first lots of situations/sights/ sounds etc could set them off and it was very realistic and distressing. Ive had lots of intense counciling and ive learnt to live with my situation to the point that it no longer distreses me.You need proffesional help to ever really come to terms with an incedent of that magnitude and there is no shame addmitting it. Ive been around the block and very little fazes me, il be a good match for any man,but were all wired differently and some times you just gotta admit you need help .Took me a couple of years to realize that as i felt weak/failure etc especially being the type of person i was but without help id still be f****d today

Good luck to you and it does get better
