did they try recreate the ebd , not so long back, making them taller+agile, think read that some where. But the KC wont accept the new ebd . ? is that right .? :hmm:

they have the Victorian bulldog but I'm not sure its recognised but you can see why because they have no real standard, they're all shapes and sizes

Dogs chasing a bear that's looking for an escape and even it did fight back it'll be out of fear. Not testing gameness IMO as the dogs can sense the fear rather than another animal that wants to be there.

As for the bulldogs maybe someone at the start had good intentions. All I see now is every peddler who can no longer flog red noses as they flooded the market move into them. They are hardly breeding better dogs its just bulldogs with fancy colours or abit more leg. If your going to try being back the bulldog surely best thing would be to test the dogs. Give em a task like they was bred for and hope to produce offspring which are the best at that. That way others will use the dogs and you won't have to worry about all your hard work dying out.

the pitbull terrier is not the same dog as our olde English bulldog.

it be the closest thing alive to the original bulldog, more than the modern bulldog, just cross bulldog with apbt n start from there, if anybody ever seen one?

Ive seen a well bred Pit Bull crossed with a Victorian Bulldog it was a useless lump of shit that just barked a lot................its the old teaspoon of dog shit in a gallon drum of ice cream analogy......only in this case a f****n great big shovel full !!
