gday. it turns out, that after all this time, Scruffy is a cross between a Jack and an Australian Terrior. now im wondering whether or not he'll be any good on foxes n shit like that? anyone know

If youve already got that dog then in 18 mths time you can find out.

if not, have a look at buying a pup from working parents.this could take you a while to find.

and always buy a dog YOU want, you have to feed and walk it.

I agree with Big bald beautiful, and at the end of the day an Aussie terrier is just another breed totaly stuffed by the show fraternity, get a good dog pure or cross from working parents and at least at the end of the day you've got a chance of a worker. there is a terrier show is at Hamilton on the 13th October, will be some workers there. PM if you can get there and we can catch up.

Mate it will work or it wont you wont know till you give it a try. The truth of the matter is that almost all breeds came to this country as show dogs it is just that us hunters have taken them and given them a try some make it some dont, But if we didnt give them a try we would not have the hunting dogs today that can match it with any.

roghtio. thanks guys. sorry but i cant get to that show. also, i ended up getting him. i got him for nothing as the owner is someone whom i recently baught a deerhound off and have become good friends with. the breeder said that i can send him back to her if it doesn't work out. Win Win situation i think.

iv never heard of anyone useing a half aussie terrier x befor sounds interesting it looks a good dog and id be keen to know how it does in the field because i love the look of an aussie terrier , how old is it does its perents work and or siblings?

i'll have him if he doesn't work. May sound daft but I've Lost two dogs this year and need a top ground worker to keep me going.
