sean178 4
I've got the hw100 on my ultra. It's very quiet indeed. Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,587
A&M Silencer. Absolutely brilliant. Never found any other moderator or silencer like near as quiet and sound deadening. I thought the Wiehrauch silencer was brilliantly good but this A&M is better. I won mine at a past THL Meet and never used it as it would not fit my spring rifles, but kept it anyway...thank goodness I did. Screwed it onto my Daystate Regal and the only thing you hear is the click of the hammer. Silences the air blast to nought. Highly recommend you all try to find one and see for yourselves. 2 Quote Link to post

I'll drop them an email thanks a lot for that, I'll have to get one especially if it's quieter than hw100 Quote Link to post

I spoke to Nigel at Wighill Park Guns, Tadcaster, this morning where my Regal came from and he's getting onto Daystate about it. He reckons they are running their guns low to avoid any legal trouble with guns that can go over the limit with certain pellets. The law can now, put them out of business if they are found to be offering unlicenced air rifles that exceed legal limits. Fair enough. Still, he is going to try to get them to collect my rifle from my home so, I cannot complain about the service he's trying to offer! And if Daystate can retune my rifle to 11+ ft/lbs, sort out the stiff bolt and secure the loose barrel properly -like they should have done in the first place, I'll be a happy customer. So we'll see what happens next. As for the A&M silencer, they are honestly great at doing wht they are supposed to do! Best wishes. Simon 2 Quote Link to post
