The one 8,504
Something's just can't be defended. I can't get my head round why anyone would even remotely show sympathy for they pair of c**ts. The fact is they are to blame for this kids disappearance. And the arrogance and laying the blame at everyone's door except their own is mind boggling. No sure about her, but him and his attitude reminds me of a full blown psychopath. No other way to describe his cavalier attitude and lack of remorse. I won't even touch on the money they have made of this kids dussapearance, or the money they used from the Madrdie fund to put relatives up in 5* hotels. He flew first class to the states and booked into a hotel from the fund. Last time I checked Portugal wasn't in America! Thats the thing that galls me as well what they did with the donated money do you think folk would have donated there money if they knew it was to be used like that ?. As you said its there fault there kids missing and if it was anybody else they would keep there heads down how many times do you open a paper turn on the telly and its the fathers smug face you see ?. If her body is found and its found they had anything to do with her death i hope they are sentenced to do there time in Portugal as if there are sentenced in Britain it will be a lighter sentence , easier jails and new identities afterwards
Lab 10,979
Canny be arsed debating it, it's been done to a death. Parents have done similar for years and nothing like this has happened. Easy to criticise now. the fact its only wrong when things go wrong does not make it right Exactly mate. It may not be neglect in Portugal but it is here so does that make it ok? Me thinks not. My auld man used to hammer me lol, it was the done thing then...... Must be ok then. Did you deserve it?? I got battered tae but I f***ing did deserve it.

I'm sat with two Portuguese girls right now and they say you're full of shit  Apparently nearly everyone in Portugal thinks they fuuckers should be tried for neglect and that no Portuguese family would leave their kids unattended to go for a meal and a pissup

That's what I meant. is the Portuguese birds related to my pal fireman

beast 1,884
i strongly suspect some involvement of the parents in that poor kids disappearance, but there is a different emphasis about it all for me. if i could ever afford to go on a foreign family holiday, i would want to share it with my babies, that would be part of the fun, not leave them in a room while i went out on the drink. forget the abduction/murder/whatever, i would hate to think of my 3 year old waking up alone in a strange place and getting upset. i am fiercely protective of my family, and love them more than anything, i certainly would not be leaving twin toddlers in the care of a 3 year old babysitter............

Spot on mate! Ye know, sounds daft but there is times when I can be walking down the street with my 3 year old holding his hand, then all of a sudden il get this horrible feeling come over me that I need to just look down and make sure he is safe and hold his hand a lot tighter!! It's horrible sometimes but I'm very anxious about my kids saftey! And I'm sure most on here would be the same
