Had a 12 ft x 8 ft, 7 ft deep (with about 2 ft raised), years ago, all sorts of expensive koi, ghost koi, orfe, sturgeon, goldfish etc, massively expensive filtration system the £ that my dad put into that was serious had a 20ft by 9ft pond here for years filled it in a few year back fancied a small water feature that will fit into a cottage type garden a trough fits the bill perfect few fish would be a bonus not looking for something thats all singing and dancing ----- old and rustic lookings the key something that looks like its been there for years 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Yeh simple rub down. Any. Rust. Spots. Prime. Then prime the whole thing with the primer ill bring then coat the whole inside with liquid liner. Its potable water standed so fish wont float lol. We had goldfish in there for years .... The old boy next door to me has to big raised ponds that he has built like a stone wall effect around them ... Hot Meat 3,109 Posted May 4, 2014 Report Share Posted May 4, 2014 We started with same sort of idea bit with them old Belfast sinks socks, 3 high with bigger un at bottom, fish outgrew it then it was a raised pond out sleepers, out grew that too so we dug a bigger pond into in-laws garden lol sturgeon will be too big for that soon as well now, flooking hassle for a few fish lol Quote Link to post Share on other sites
