villaman 9,983
Well after all the problems I have had with the Daystate Regal I decided to have my money back from the shop and buy a new HW100kt in .177 to match my .22. Picked the gun up about 4hours ago ,could not wait to get home and clean the barrel and scope it up , but be fore I could do any of that I had to mow the lawns which is a hours job. Cleaned the barrel put scope on zeroed at 35 yards with aa 4.52 and only took 5 pellets to do that ,well happy . Tried a few pellets of different brands AA fields 4.51 ,4.52 ,rws superfields , jsb exact , daystate heavies ,rws superdomes and a few other . All the 8,44gr pellets running at about 11.35 ft/lb , heavies at 11.7 but tried some AA express pellets 7.9gr putting out 11.12-11.20 ft/lb my god these pellets are just fantastic , 14 pellets on top of each other at 35 yards in a slight breeze . All you HW owners you must try these pellets , know wonder on the Hw forum they are raving about these pellets . Found out my gun is not pellet fussy so far but only put about 300 pellets through it ,Getting 4 mags out of a fill ,will order a new A&M cylinder for it as well. This gun out forms my old Daystate Regal in ever single way , never happy with the groupings with the Regal , pile of crap. 2 Quote Link to post

Daz39 962
4 mags from a fill? Oof, glad I got a full size, 8 mags out of mine without drop off. Do love the hw100 in .177 though! Quote Link to post
Mr Mcgoo 18
I had same setup HW100KT 177 , a and m cylinder and mtc viper 10x44 . Got 6 mags with the cylinder and saved a hell of a lot of weight. You will find the rifle balances out perfect. Now running new AA S400s in 177, not had it out yet but when I'm home in few weeks I'll be over the perm. I looked at the regals but heard rally bad things about them. The older huntsman is the one you wanted if was daystate you were after. I had the wolf but weighs a ton and no good for me where I'm climbing and moving all the time. You can get a reg fitted and up shot count even more Quote Link to post
