Stirling 17 Hmr

Have been offered one of these rifles at a very reasonable price but cannot find any sort of reviews/website that gives any information about them.

 

I have been offered the following

 

Stirling 1700 17 HMR with stainless steel barrel and action

3-9x50 simmons scope

SAK mod

Sling

Bag

Some ammo

 

All for £150?

 

Im concerned that at that price they must be shit. I was currently saving for a nice CZ.

 

Any advice would be great!

At that price though cant really go wrong. But wat it out I just picked up a cz452 with mod and scope for 200 as a back up gun , its now the first gun I reach for before I head out

I have a late 70's brno mod2 in .22lr and its great and I have a 2013 cz452 .17hmr and that is also excellent. Both are great guns on par with each other, build quality is second to none and imo no other standard rifle will out perform them.

I have the cz 455 .17hmr with the thumbhole stock, excellent piece of kit, also just purchased a .223 howa 1500 with wooden sporter stock,scope,t4 mod and rounds of a member off here which im yet to try out.....tomorrow now fingers crossed.

Hold on for a cz mate if i was you.
