Haha if I can mind right the nest is a little cacoon type with moss with wee hole in it.

Wee white egg with little faint red speckles.

Most of tits eggs look same quite hard tell difference.

That's the one mate, I think it's the smallest egg in Britain. It was a pain in the arse blowing it I can mind that lol.

 

Wouldn't a Goldcrest egg be smaller?

Naw :laugh: I dunno mate, you'd think so but them long tail tits are small too apart from the tail obviously lol. Google it mate, I always thought it was the tit but you can shatter my dreams if you want :tongue2:

I had a wren egg, don't think it was a crested thou.

I remba you were sick of the site of thrush and blackies nest in hedge rows.

You hardly see the birds now never mind nests.

Aye had wren mate. Your right about the song thrush. I can mind being on the bus and seeing a mistle thrush and trying to mind where I saw it lol. Blackies, I got my c**t kicked in by blackie on a nest :laugh: nothing got the f****r off its nest :D

You either need to work on your photoshop skills or get a better lens, f*****g grass has a purple Hume :laugh: did you follow it :laugh:

dont use photoshop and the picture was that dark it was hard to even see it :laugh: the lens i have is crap to be honest :laugh::laugh:

Get a good second hand one off eBay. Even a scratched lens ain't the end of the world. More chance of seeing dust on the sensor than a scratch on the lens.

i am looking at either a second hand canon 70 - 200 @f2.8 and a 1.4 doubler of the equivalent sigma

That's what I use on my Nikon mate, same set up. Sigma lenses are good and fair priced.

second hand sigma are roughly half the price of the second-hand canon
