I hope your right, wouldn't want to see Stan stop hunting. His lad Joey has turned into a cracking lad compared to the rest of the lads. You could see how much it meant to Joey to catch his first wolf and even his first wolverine. Stan wont pack up, he said to his bro he'll die out there. It's just for a dramatic season finale. Had to laugh at his brother saying how dangerous it was for Stan, come home. Like being twice the weight you should be isn't dangerous. If his brother outlives him, I'll be surprised.
