Pcp Air Rifle

I'm after as much advice as I canget as I'm new to pcp air rifles I no what calibre I want which is .177 an no what make which will be bsa but not sure on model as a good hunting/target rifle. I currently own a air arms tx200 in .177 calibre which I love. So any advice is well taken and much appreciated thanks folks

Hi mate,

The hw 100 range is outstanding (and the best by far imho) but if you are sticking with BSA then in my humble opinion - the BSA Ultra in .177 .

BSA r-10 or super10 bluprintinted. A tench reg in the r10 is a must!

my mate shoots a bsa ultra in 177 and to be fare its a nice little gun shoots well. i have a hw100kt in 177 now i am use to it i would pick it over the ultra any day.

Problem with the Ultra is the poor shot count, especially if you take up tin rabbit shooting (HFT). It may not have enough air to get round the course! The Scorpion is very similar (if buying the SE versions) but has a much better shot count.

Best try all of the above. Its all preference man. Any PCP around the 500 mark is gonna do the job you ask of it.

I have a Hw100kt in .22 and just picked one up in .177 all so have a ultra ,the ultra will match any top price Daystate pellet for pellet any day of the weekl . Had a Daystate reagel the worst gun I have had by a mile , in fact got my money back on the pile of crap and got the HW100kt.177.

On the BSA forum some body has just one a hft comp with a BSA Ultra .177 ,so enough shots to do a hft course . They are even better with reg in them from XTX AIR

If you can go afford a HW100 go for that , IMHO these are the best guns around in ether KT , KS , T , S , I would not go for the FSB one though

I'd like to stick to bsa as there nice looking guns an at good prices an the r10 gets great shot count tho I do like look of the hw100 it's abit of a head spinner. But al your info is great

Ultra 177 regged up is extremely hard to beat , fantastic rifle. Make it even better with regulator either done for you, or a Rob Laine design reg that you fit yourself.
