LMFAO 94
Arrochars just before the rest and be thankfull they use to test torpedos on it years ago think its loch long its on Caught loads of mackerel on loch Long. It's one long, narrow f***ing deep loch. I can mind you had to see what flag was on the bouy to see if any subs were there. Think it was an American base. Loch Fyne is another cracking loch and good fishing. Had a nice sea trout from there using mackerel as bait.

Worked there for a couple of years in the early 90s when it was being built. We done a night shift for a week to look over the explosive site that was due to get blasted, there was a huge spot light at the edge of the water where the navy police boat sometimes came in, the amount of mackerel that used to shoal there was unreal, getting paid double bubble for Fishing for the week was my idea of a night shift, lol, LMFAO no yanks in that base all Royal Navy. I think yanks had a base there. It got closed Down in the early 90s They could have but it wasn't coulport. It was built it 1963 for the polaris programme and then more work was done late -early 90s to accommodate the trident programme, or was it the other way around lol, either way all British owned.
