Guest ocs1867
I would not pay £400 either fella but then again I am not really in to Lurchers. All pups went in the space of 2 days except this male pup. Just been emailed the pics of the sire & Dam http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x315/th...rankforsite.jpg http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x315/th...07/dsc04872.jpg
workindogz 0
a cross like that could be usefull for certain things but for me as a buyer the father would need to be a hard worker and he doesnt look like it from the pic nice looking boy but not from a working home i think? Guest ocs1867
To tell you the truth mate I dont think he works him anymore due to the fact he has two better workers. It did use to be a farm dog working cattle etc but I think he has retired it now. Fantasic dog though and it does come from Scotts\Painter lines in the USA.

Pups been sold anyway. yes obviously, you said yourself that his other two are better workers. nothings guarenteed so imo it's always best to breed from stuff that is working to a high standard regular. Simoman 110
I agree with Lucky, why increase the risk of failure by failing to breed from the best?

Because the other two dog were not American Bulldogs. Painter lines are the best for performance imo.
Simoman 110
Painter lines may be better on boar but what use on our quarry species?
