Brigzy 1,298
Why would you want to pay over 3 quid a kilo for that shite ! BARF can be got from local butchers for around 50p a kilo, or even free from some butchers.
huntmad. 67
I wouldn't bother with bakers there are additives in it that can make the dog addicted to It an turn their nose up to other food , I know it might sound daft but have a look online for urself and not only that for that price u can get real meat ,
trenchfoot 4,243
Bakers is absolute shite. The contents beggar belief. And the occurrence of tumours in dogs fed on it is high. Don't even get me started on the behavioural problems when they are fed it, it's like giving kids blue smarties. When I see anyone buying it in a shop, I stop and explain how bad it is for their dogs

sandymere 8,263
http://adc.bmj.com/content/89/6/506.long that not be the additives they have a very small, likely no more than placebo effect, lol. Studies suggest that high protein is the biggest cause of increased activity. Don't think bakers is high protein lol.
Bosun11 537
If its readily available, easy, cheap and most importantly, your dogs constantly look well on it, then feck whats on the packet, or where it came from and feed it...!
trenchfoot 4,243
50% of the dogs I've known to have been on it for most of their lives have died of gastric tumours of some sort. Most dogs when they have come off it and gone onto more "sensible" complete meal have had an improvement in behaviour/temperament even if the new diet is higher in protein. Non of the above is based on published science, just observations over the last 20 years
