dytkos 17,784
Had a quick peek in my nest box this morning for the first time, about 7 or 8 blue tits eggs in there but I haven't seen a bird go in for days They haven't been disturbed by anything or anyone so I'm thinking maybe a predator of some kind has had the mother? Cheers, D. Since then, I've seen one blue tit come out of the box. If one bird has died etc, would the other still try to hatch the eggs? Anybody any knowledge please? Cheers, D. Pleased to say there's regular movement in and out of the box now, maybe hatched but I think the male is feeding the female, if I remeber rightly from the last few years, when they are hatched its like the M6 at rush hour back and forth to my feeding station LOL Cheers, D.
