samboy 314
Iv'e had both, 410 is lighter and nice to hold but Rapid has a far superior shot count. Quote Link to post
Elliott 436
Out of the two I'd probably go for a HW100 1 Quote Link to post
dbm 49
Rapid all day,far more shots Quote Link to post
Sterlin1145 10
I've just bought a rapid and have used the 410, Overall the rapid is what I preferred. Love it and can't fault it the best thing I would do is go for a shoot of both and see what suits you... Quote Link to post
MickC 1,825
Had both guns and ive still got Rapid, both guns as accurate as each other but as a Hunting gun the Rapid is so much better. Rapids are so much more robust and take the knocks better than the 410.The reason I sold the 410 was because of the skinny barel and naff clamping system which I had slighty knocked a couple of times when out hunting and lost my zero.Think of a Rapid as the Kalashnikov of air rifles. As has already been said the Rapid platform has been copied by both Daystate and BSA for good reason. Quote Link to post
shergar 42
aye up there both great guns and you won't regret getting either , I would go for the 410 just because I am not keen on the buddy bottle but that's just me, also the 410 is really easy to work on just depends if you want to service it yourself , have a shoot with both and get what suits you sir ohh Quote Link to post

Mr Mcgoo 18
Air arms is lighter and as for shot count when do you shoot more than 60-70 rabbits in an outing? If it's a pure hunting rifle air arms are a worth while buy. Either that or a hw100k I've had both and there ability far exceeds mine. I have been shooting for 15 years . Furthest shot with 100 was approx 65-70 yards. Very calm day, maybe a bit luck had to play. Doubt ill ever beat that Light, balanced and accurate more important to me rather than shot count.
