lurchers1981 0
Hi everyone, l'm new to this forum, though not new to the life by any means. Anyway, my brother has just purchased a cracking little pup, Sire is a lurcher, a stunning 3/4 grey, with a bit of collie and bull, a really smashing daytime dog and handsome as they come. The Dam is a border collie. anyway, l was wondering, is a pup from a lurcher, even a high sighthound content lurcher x with a dog a lurcher or 'just' a dog? l'm just curious, the pup is bright as they come, chasing everything that moves and very bold, she certainly shows a lot of promise so l can't wait to see how she does in the field cheers Quote Link to post
lurchers1981 0
Both. thanks , l guess you are right, what l mean is that to me, a luioprcher is a x between a sighthound and a dog, so a x between a lurcher and a dog is no longer a lurcher but a dog? the pup looks like she is going to have her Sire's proportions so she's definatly more lurcher to me Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
It's a lurcher. But it's still a dog. 2 Quote Link to post
