Breast Feeding Mums Hold Protest

Recommended Posts

The wife's just told me about this,,,,fair play to the women,,it's crazy to think there are people who are offended by stuff like breast feeding a child,,,most women are incredibly discreet about it any way,,,more likely to get an eye full of some young bird with a low cut top..

We were in Alton towers 2 yrs ago, we got on the cable cars and there was a man and woman with a baby and toddler so me the missus n we girl got on board and I sat next to the woman, when we got off my missus said to me are you not embarrassed? Im like noooo. What for? She said the woman was Brest feeding the we baby and was laughing, I just shook my head tut tut and laughed for I was non the wiser. She was discreet and it didn't even bother her. Bet her hubby wasn't too pleased though. Lol. Fair play to you ladies never be embarrassed by nature.

Big stink on about it in Leisure too. Woman was stopped (can't think what center) from feeding in the pool... Feck me, if you can't wait the 10mins or so small babies are in the water until you get back to the changing rooms, then don't bring the child till its on solids..!

As much as I'm all for breast feeding I do think some women flaunt the fact that they can and should.

The other thing that gets on my wick is the women who don't tell you they are going to feed, start adjusting their top whilst your both talking ,all innocent like and then wham, look down to bab-on-tit!! :icon_eek:

Ain't half a conversation jerker, your conversation now sounds like a wagon reversing "er, er, er", train of thought right out the window and trying desperately to look 'at', without looking down, whilst all the time feeling a burning sensation with your face! :icon_redface: Horrible!

+1.............You get nicked these days for having a piss behind a tree ( call of nature )...........but its ok for a bird to flop her jugs out to feed her baby ( call of nature )

If your baby is that starving that it cant wait for a more appropriate time than walking round Sainsburys then organise your life better !

theres a big difference between breast feeding and whopping the cock out for a Lillian Gish, and if your trying to feed the baby a different type of milk that's just wrong tut tut

Totally agree....and neither of them are acceptable in a public place in my opinion......we,ve all been caught short once in a while but to make it acceptable is just daft.......theres no reason a woman should have to whip a tit out in a shop if she organises her life properly so why make it acceptable.

I breastfed my youngest for about 6 month & in the end I got him on solids he was a greedy little bugger & my breasts were sick of it  , as I fed on demand it was ideal at 4am not having to get out of bed to knock up a bottle was ideal but it has its drawbacks like when you're in town .. so i used to express it in a bottle in case he got hungry

I must admit the woman in the swimming baths episode was bizarre & she was compensated financially for that , quoting some equality act 2010 , I almost feel as though it was pre conceived ... why on earth would you want to breastfeed a crying , cold wet baby in the water . common sense tells me if my baby started to cry in the baths it was likely time to get the wee thing warm in the changing rooms & dry & dress the child & then feed it

But thats just an old school mothers opinion so what do I know
